Subwoofer replacement

Help me out please!!!Got a 98 explorer. Looking to replace the sub.(mach system) What do u recomend? And tell me this...How the Hell do u get the woofer out of the box? I have all screws out and wires disconnected and still cannot pull speaker out. Spins all the way around but will not come out...Is it the magnet sticking to side of truck or what? HELP....thanks Mike

Subwoofer replacement
What kind of money are you looking at spending? If it wasn't that much of a problem I would replace the Mach sub with a JLAudio 10" Stealth Box, cause (with no experience of my own) I heard that the Mach Subs are no good and the JLAudio kicks a$$ ( I've got the Stealth box in mine pushed by a 600 watt Kenwood Bass Amp). That thing is that you have to replace it with a sub that fits the air space available in the MACH's box. Probably will be a tough job finding one. Good luck..
