XM radio CD player installed
I just installed the Pioneer DEH-P3370XM system in my truck replacing the stock unit.
I activated the XM part and have been very pleased with the quality of the Pioneer unit. I have not replaced my speakers yet. So far they are handling the heavy bass from the 50X4 system (which is very adjustable). With what I've seen with this unit to spend money on Alpine or some other unit is just wasting money.
Total costs: at $489. This included the adapter kit and wiring harnesses, satillite receiver, etc.. This worked out very well for me and at some point I might buy an amp - but I doubt it if the stock speakers hold up.
