I am wondering guys, what would be a good choice of 4 ohm subs that can handle 500-700 watts RMS? My money isn't too expendable, so price is a big factor. What would you guys suggest?
If budget is the most important factor I would go with subs that require less power. You can find good subs with lower power ratings like Bazooka EL's. The high wattage subs might be cheap but a good amp to push them won't be...
Mmm...
700 watts rms huh. You must want like a 15" sub or sumthin. But if you are on a budget then i would recommend some Infinity Reference or Cerwin Vega HEDs. The HEDs get louder/more SPL but the Reference are far more accurate and musical. Both would be about 100 bucks each for a 12. My 10" Reference had at one time a 750 watt rms amp pushing it and it took it all in! Take a peek at Crutchfield.com, they have a wide variety. Good luck buddy--
