speaker level outputs

speaker level outputs
ok, on my kenwood amp i have some "speaker level output" connectors, and i hooked on of my 6x9s up to it, and it didnt work at all. is there some trick to doing this, or could it be broken?

speaker level outputs
That connection is an input to your amp, not an output. It is to be used if your head unit is not equipped with RCA's. You take the speaker output wires from your head unit and run them to that connector.
