My uncle got me a new pair of OEM foglights. Im trying to put them on right now and I cant figure out how they go. I know I will have to drill holes but the three holes on the bracket dont all hit the bumper. Anyone have any tips or pics that could help. thanks
I think I remember a piece of angle needs to be bolted in
I have a pair I've been hauling around for about 5 years for the same reason, just can't find my round tuit
I installed a set on mine, and I think you just have to drill one hole to make them work. I work with a guy that brought me a harness that came off a newer truck,so,I am running the factory harness also. BUT, since my truck is a 2000,and they didn't start putting them on until 2001, I had to make a harness and use a toggle switch to fab it to work. I could have just got a relay, wired it in with my headlights, that way It would work when on dimm, but I like to choose when they are on.
Same bumper... two holes on top, one on the bottom, snap in the little capture nuts and bolt them on. Its easy with the bumper off, maybe twenty minutes. Then just wire them thru a relay to the battery and on to a switch. Use a key on hot for the switch.

bumpers are different on 2000,no place to put bottom bolts
I've got a set of these and tried fitting them up under my bumper and it didn't at all seem as simples a just drilling a couple holes, but I'll look again. Are they designed to have the single mount-point at the top or bottom?
LOL I worked on it for about an hour and said forget it. They will set in the garage till I get around to doing them again. oh well. Thanks for the help
Thanks Jim. I got the lights back there but for some reason when the lights are in the position on the side of the license place (1st pic) the top of the mounting bracket hits on the right spot at the top of the bumper but the bottom doesnt even come close( 1- 1 1/2 off) I have the adjustment screw turned all the way in to suck the bracket in close but it is still off by alot. Thanks for the pics. I might end up pulling the front bumper. (since Im layed off I got all the time in the world!)
