Removing headrest?

I bought some Wet Okole seat covers and need to remove the headrests in order to get them on. I've been told that they will come right out the top of the seat, but mine only go up so far and then it's like they hit a brick wall. I've tried it with the adjuster depressed and with it not depressed, still seems like it's hitting on some kind of a stop. Any help would be appreciated, thanks for any suggestions offered.

There are 2 tabs you have to depress in order to get it all the way out. If you are looking toward the back of the truck you can easily see the adjuster for the right post as it sticks out from the rest of the plastic on the left side.

The left post has an adjuster on the left side that is flush with the main plastic peice. You have to push it into the plastic, while you also push in on the right post adjuster, then the headrest will pull up and out.
