Help!

I have a 1985 F350 one ton dually 2wd, 351w. I have been having problems with the truck stalling out. It starts fine but after 20 minutes of running it stalls out and then wont start again for quite some time. I recently replaced plugs, wires, fuel filter, ignition module, ignition tumbler. I have lots of spark and the fuel pump seems to pumping the appropriate amount of fuel. There also seems to be no restriction of fuel going directly into the carb when I manually pump the accelerator.
Where do I go from here? Any ideas or similar stories and fixes are most appreciated.

Josh

I would have thought it to be the ignition module, maybe pull it and get it tested, could be the new one is bad. Wouldn't be the first time.

It does the same thing as with the old module and a used module I had sitting around. I also noticed that the coil and the module are really hot to the touch after running for a bit. So I relocated the coil away from the block and it still does the same thing.

Sounds like its overheating and then cutting out, what kind of module did you get?
