And as far as doing anything first, if the trucks stock (engine wise) most are going to tell you ditch the stock downpipe and intake.
Ya they were huge, but not as bad as the 10" stacks that i saw a while ago on fleabay. cant seem to find them now...

I've got a new dp, 4" strait pipe to a single 7" stack.. I think twins would be better but that thing just looks and sounds mean! but yeah, once you get to 4" it's all for looks after that.. YouTube - my 7.3 powerstoke
it smokes a little more now too

Those 7" stacks just look mean! My sister has an '02 ford with a cummins sittin on 4" lift with 35's just looks and sounds mean!
