Put the stock wheels on. A CC w3:73s, 35s and the 5.4l is not a good combo to have, performance wise. I would consider a regear with the 35s.

Your fine with the 35's. 7K isn't a huge load, you aren't going a great distance.

Just make sure you're tires are inflated properly and relax. You'll do fine.

I've towed a 23' horse trailer with two horses and tack with mine no problem. i'm running 34" on 20" wheels. 5.4 with 3.73's. i had to run with the o/d off most of time to keep it from shifting in and out.

Yes, you should turn the O/D off, but you'll be fine.

No, with that load you'll be OK.

Keep an eye on your transmisssion temps, don't push it too hard and you'll be OK.

why is that not a good combo to have? ... have you driven one, or just going by what you've read on here.

im runnin the same combo as you, 2valver 04 with 33's ..not a problem with 10k 70 miles is no problem. enjoy your camping trip!

lets just get this out of the way. you need to sell your truck and get a deisel or a v10.
ok, now that it is said i would think you would be ok. turn off the overdrive and have fun camping

i know. i tow alot with mine and have no problems. but everytime there is a towing w/ a 5.4 question there are people that say that a 5.4 can't tow that and you need to get a deisel. i don't think that 3" taller tires are going to change it to much. you are not towing real heavy.

No. Seriously, make sure the tires are inflated properly, stop worrying about your truck and go camping.
