Took the boat to the lake today truck ran great there and back about 40 miles each way. Back the boat back into the driveway, get out trucks still running fine. Unhook the trailer get back into the truck and move it to the other side of the driveway... hell breaks loose. Truck idling terrible sounds horrible. I can't hear the turbo cycling the RPM's arn't really fluctuating too bad though. I shut it off let it cool back down, turn it on same thing. I try revving it in neutral and park and can't get it to make a single pound of boost.
So I change the fuel filters (changed them about 10k miles ago and they were still white) cleaned the air filter. I'm going to try and clean the EGR tomorrow. I can't even remember the last time it was cleaned.
I tried searching and people were saying the ICP could cause similiar issues but it was changed maybe 30-40k miles ago.
pretty sure they don't make boost in neutral or park, and just because a sensor was changed relatively recently does not rule it out as being the fault.
