towing package

i have a 93 and am trying to bolt up the factor towing package. when i purchased the truck it came with a window sticker which had the towing package but no reciever hitch. the wiring harness is still there under the truck. i got a factory towing package at a junk yard from a same yr truck. when i try to bolt it up the 4 holes on the hitch do not line up with anything under the truck is there supposed to be a support bracket or something this is the hitch i have any help would be great

My truck came with the factory towing package but didn't come with a hitch. I had to put one on. You have to drill the holes in the frame for it. The towing package I believe is the anti-sway bars and light harness.

There are not any brackets. The easiest way to put it on is to get it positioned where you want it and make sure its straight. Use C clamps to hold it in place and drill the holes in the frame.

because the step bumper is capable of towing. But most of us (like you) prefer a reciever hitch instead. Just clamp it to the frame and drill the holes. Pretty easy!
