I had my truck running the other day and I turned on Max A/C and turned the fan speed all the way up to high. But, it wasn't even blowing air out very hard. Is that normal?
Common problems: plugged up vents, mice nests and leaves and things like that. The blend door that controls which vents get airflow could be broken, or the vac lines the actuate it could have cracks in them and are keeping it from sealing up nice and tight.
The fan blades could be damaged or the motor could be on it's way out, but it's almost always a blockage or a blend door issue.
I have distinct speeds...but "High" does not feel as "high" as it should be. It doesn't blow air out nearly as hard as either of my cars do with the fan set on high.
And no it is coming out of the dash vents.
It doesn't sound like there's any crap in the vents (I've had that sort of thing happen on my car before), but I may have to look.
