Moonroof
Ok, I should be picking up my new Screw (4x2 Lariat, 5.4 liter engine) this Saturday. It doesn't have everything I want though so I'll need to be adding the following:
- moonroof
- cap
- spray-on bedliner
- cab steps
The moonroof worries me. The truck I'm getting will have the convenience group with overhead console. Has anyone had an aftermarket moonroof installed with the console? Which brand? Does it work ok? Did they have to remove the console or move the courtesy lamp? For the cap and steps I'm thinking Astro and for the bedliner I'm thinking Rhino, but any advice would sure be appreciated.
I'd also like to gripe a little about Ford. Originally I ordered a truck on June 11. The dealer never mentioned that as of June 1st they couldn't order the 2001 model, so any chance I had of making the incentive was blown. That was the dealer's fault, not Ford. But then Ford drops the Deep Wedgewood Blue color and replaces it with True Blue. And then they go further and have dropped the two-tone paint scheme for some reason. I gave up and went to a different dealer and chose off their lot. These days, for $30,000 I should be able to get exactly what I want.
Anyway, I can hardly wait to get the new truck. Thanks in advance for your help!

How did you order a 2002? Every time I walk into a dealer (weekly), they tell me they don't know anything about the 2002s, or if there are going to be any changes. How did you know what you were ordering, and what options to get. How did you know there weren't new options?
I've been exhausted trying to find out more information about the 2002s, but have not heard a peep from anyone.
I heard a rumor somewhere though, that in the 2002 model, an option is available to have the power moonroof, and the entertainment package simultaniously. I'm very curious about how they plan to do this, and what did they have to change to accomodate such an option.
I also heard that they might be changing the front headlights to match those on the current 2001 Lightning/Harley Davidson models.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
