i have a magnaflow exhaust that has been fine ever since i got it in 2005.
but now when drive and start slowing down it makes this terrible shaking/clanking noise like its dragging or breaking but it stops as soon as i speed up {above 1,000 RPMs}.
I thought it was because it was just loose but its not and it also makes the noise when i let it idle roll.
Do After-market Exhausts "die-out" or is it a engine problem you hear from the exhaust?

It could also be the loose or disconnected bolt studs that connect the exhaust manifold and exhaust collector pipe. Check both the drivers and passenger side connections.
