IAC issue

I have a very strange problem. I have a 94' XLT 5.8L auto.
I am having some strange running issues and only when it is wet out. After fadt idle drops off it spits and spudders for about a minute then you here a click and it runs normal. Doesn't matter if it is cold or warm. Every time you start it. I checked for codes and a here are the codes, 12, 11, 73.

I had a EGr problem before but I fixed that and the problem persists.

I checked the voltage at the IAC and it is only 0.17VDC. If i disconnect the connector to the IAC it reads 11.8VDC. If I leave the IAC plugged in and only probe one wire and hold the other probe it gives me 10.6VDC. Sounds stupid but I noticed that. I also checked the resistance of the IAC and it reads 12.9 ohms. I also took it off and cleaned it.
I changed the TPS and it still comes up with 73. I had the battery disconnected for about half an hour and rechecked with the same code.

Can anyone shed some light on this. I'm starting to get frustrated!!!!!

Thanks

Wayne

rarely cleaning an iac solves the problem.

replace it.

Even if it is within specs? I will do it anyways. It only takes a couple of minutes.

I've been reading a bit on this site and noticed most of the 94's have a 3 digit code. Am I reading this right? Maybe I'm doing this wrong. I followed the test procedure. I will try again in the morning.

If it only happens when it is wet out, I doubt it is a bad sensor,...probably a bad ground or connector connection.

retard

I'm a retard. I was reading the codes wrong. The codes are KOEO 121
KOER 121, 173

I've been reading about this and it seems to point to the TPS and the O2. Is this right?

Well I got rid of code 121. I put the old TPS back in and tested the resistance. It seemed good. The new one is screwed. Now I just have the code 173. Might just go get a O2 sensor. I've never changed it.

do not forget to clear the computer and then go for a drive to have the computer relearn.

then read the codes again.

Just did that. Seems to run great. Going for a long drive today so we will see. The old O2 looks very old. No codes popped up yet. Just 111. Thanks for the help!!!

Well It is running better but has a code now 311, I had some old solinoids TAD and TAB. I tried those and cleared the codes. 311 came back again. Can this cause any running issues? It still has a spudder ater the fast idle goes down.
