460 header question

460 header question

I know everyone says to use the L&L Headers, but I'll come right out, and tell you, I can't afford them. I'm in the middle of a 460 swap, I removed a 351 Windsor. Will the Heddman HED-89280 headers work for this swap, or am I stuck with stock manifolds until I can get enough $ for the L&L parts?

what are you swapping the motor into? If it is a 90's it might but if it is a stick you need to get special headers. The name of them escape me know but we just talked about them not to long ago so if you search you could probably find them.

I always forget to note what I'm doing, and I don't know why. I'm putting the 460/C6/NP205 in a 1985 F250 that had a 351/C6/NP208.

Put you vehicle into your signature and it will always be there for people to reference. I think I would stick with the stock manifolds until you can get the coin to do it right.
