Hi everyone! I found the site last fall when I was looking for fuel mileage info on the '08. Ford was in the process of doing a buyback on my 07 6.0 and was trying to find as much info as I could. So FMC bought back my 07 F250 Lariat CC, LB, 3.73 LOADED to the hilt and I in turn ordered a 08 F250 FX4 CC LB Black leather, back up camera, dvd nav so pretty much loaded to the hilt. ONly thing I could get was a power rear slider......pretty stupid of FMC.....can ONLY get one factory with a Lariat.

Fast forward to present day....almost 8 months later. I ABSOLUTELY love the truck all in all. I don't care for Fords heated seats at all......need to be like my Sierra........high/low settings and able to do just the back or seat and back. DVD Nav ROCKS! The upgraded stereo system rocks just as well. The power telescoping and folding mirrors are awesome along with the backup camera..........don't say you'd NEVER use it........best $500 I ever spent.

MY one and ONLY major complaint is the fuel mileage. I've only broken 10mpg a handful of times in my 10,000 venture........and I'm also sick of that darn regen!!! WHo's DUMB idea was that?!?!?!? So needless to say I've been spending ALOT of time on here seeing what guys are saying about mileage. So after all my investigating I've decided to have a Edge w/Attitude installed in HOPES that I can gain atleast the 2 out of 4 that are claimed. My main concern with the whole thing has been my factory and extended warranty. I guess I have to take a chance and do whatever I can to try to keep the $$$$ from flying out of my wallet! You would think in this day and age that this truck would get some great fuel mileage........heck, my 06 Sierra with the LBZ Duramax got 16 city/highway but cut right in half when I towed and my 07 6.0 PSD got 13-15 city/highway and 10-12 towing. I just don't get it!!!

So hopefully this helps me out with my dilema!!! I really wish I knew how some of you are getting 13-16 off the lot when we have the same darn trucks!!! That blows me away! And ALL of my calculations are done manually!

Since you`ve found the 08 forum hopefully you`ll be able your fuel mileage info on your '08. The regen is the Fed`s mandated and dumb idea of clean air.....

Well the 6.4 is just a filler to meet emissions, but i've heard you can get great gas mileage witha few simple mods, intake, high flow exhaust etc
