I have a 1973 Explorer Special. Where can I find the orange door panels and an orange seat? All the door panels I can find are black or tan. The origionals for this truck are orange but the prev owner cut into them to put a crappy stereo in it, and threw the origional seat away.
junk yard. The "unpopular" colors aren't reproduced. Certian green hues are almost impossible. You can buy a tan set and paint.
I doubt you will have good luck in the junkyard for those panels. They are pretty much "Explorer specific" as well as the seat.
You could color match the original panels and use a paint that is specific for coloring plastic and vinyl. Auto Paint stores sould be able to help. Gray panels would be a better more neutral color to paint as well.
About the seat, you can use the picture in the ad that I posted awhile back in another thread, and have a cover specially made to match the original. However you are talking $$$.
