Here's the challenge from Field & Stream: Identify various kinds of animal fecal matter. I got 11 out of 22, basically I failed. There's a few typos in it but hey, nobody is purfikt.. so let's see if you've got the scoop on poop!
18 - 22. Congratulations. You get a PHD in Poopology. 14 -18. You have passed Poop 101. A few more days with your nose on the ground and you can move to the graduate level. 10 - 14. Scat isn’t your strength. The good news is that most people won’t think less highly of you for it. 6 - 10. Better look at the soles of your shoes. You aren’t seeing it, obviously, so you must be stepping in it. 0 - 5. S@#*, you stink.
"Let’s say we’re hunting and come across a pile of deer droppings. Because they are dark, shiny and soft" ok if you know that the poop is soft you had to touch it, remind me to never shake the had of a hunter ever again!
" One member of our deer family leaves scat that has a sweet perfume." ok i am sorry but there is no way this can be true!

Too late Brady! You've already shook my hand... better scrub those hands right now!!
For the outdoorsmen among us, here is a practical joke to enjoy with your camp buddies.
There is a candy you can buy, dang, can't remember the name of it right now. But it's basically peppermint patty flavor, but it's in little pellets that look exactly like deer/elk scat.
You can probably guess the rest - sprinkle them in a pile near camp. Impress your buddies by tasting the "scat" to see how fresh it is. "Look at that! We had a deer right here in camp just last night. This is really fresh! Try one..."
