I have an 81' F-150 4x4 and the brakes rattle.
When I replaced the pads they came with an anti-rattle clip but i guess i installed them wrong because now there gone. This is my first expeirence with a Ford as I was a C#evy guy till now, (sorry for the C word)
But iI found this old truck and fell in love. It has a rod knockin' So I'm also working on a 302 as well. More questions to come on that.
So how do I stop the rattle? and how are the clips suposed to fit?
Ya gota get new clips. A disk brake hardwear kit should have em in it. Grab a look on line or service book for placement. I'v a 83 1ton for 17+ yrs ,so Im not up on your 150configuration. Best wishes
