The plan for the 460 when I restore the truck is to be in the 400-500hp range!!! If only I'd be able to get traction!!!

1800.00... includes heads, timing gears and chain, intake, cam, rockers/springs, all gaskets, etc. the whole getup from the cam up on the valvetrain side of things. a nos setup would be cheaper, but no matter what i do i thing i'll pull the engine out and rebuile it completely just in case some parts are getting brittle from age...

Not too bad, for around $4,000 + (with some machine work and doing your own engine rebuild labour) you`ll have a smokin motor.

Back on topic, a good idea.
It`s getting harder to take, it won`t stop me from driving my old toys though.

The part that hurts the most is diesel is around $6.40 a gallon and with only 8 miles to a gallon with the gravel trucks.....

Ya! I told my Dad the price went up here! I know Sherm! I don't want to drive anything but a truck, but at todays prices I'm starting to think I need to get rid of the trailer and then I could to with a smaller truck!
