Different brake rotors??

I bought some rotors for my 99' 4x4 today and went to install them.
The new rotors are bigger than the old ones and obviously not the right part.
Does anyone know when Ford switched to the bigger rotor?

i could have sworn that they went to the larger brakes on the 05 trucks. the early 99 trucks had a thinner rotor than late 99-04.

In 2005 Ford switched the 4x4's to the coil sping front suspension, cross-over steering and larger brakes.

I think Ford made a change to the front brakes in March of 99, but I'm not sure of that.

Yes, there are two sizes for the 1999 , I went through the same thing. Do yourself a favor, take the old one with you when you go to get the new ones.
