There is lots of info on the web, and Hemieater has done a lot of work and has pics. There are a lot of thing you should not do when porting, it's not all about bigger, it's about flow velocity and consistency through the port. It's pretty easy to make things worse if you do the wrong things, so unless you are prepared to spend some time researching what the Ford heads need.. not just heads in general, you may be better of not doing it. As stated, untouched GT40 heads are an upgrade from the stock heads, so you don't need to port them to realize gains. The facts are the lower intake will probably need work to match the flow of the heads.

Yes.. you can use earlier or later bocks, and the 94+ blocks have a roller cam which offer a bit more porformance and efficiency.

thanks a lot guys i think im on the right track to deciding what to do. if i have more questions believe me ill ask cause i cant afford to screw up. by the way what kinda trucks do you guys drive daily and what do you have done to them. whats your power range and fuel mileage.
