Window problems 93 Explorer.
Hello again.
Can someone tell me if each window motor is completely separate from the other window motors. I had the right front and rear go out about two years ago, but I have lived without running them up and down. Now my left rear and front are giving me similar problems. When I lower the front one, it will go down about half way and stop, but the motor is slipping and making a rumbling noise until I give the switch a tap or two. The left rear won't even move most of the time.
It's hard to believe that all four windows have loose motors that have come from years of vibrations. But I guess it's possible. Is this a task I should leave for the pros, or something that can be fixed rather easily. Thanks.
