my tunes reset to 1-stock ,very time i turn off....thought that was normal...so she would have to learn to set for 60 tow or 80e...
I think it's pretty harsh on the ICP to actually start up in a performance tune....so it's not such a bad thing yours re-sets to stock. I always set mine for stock before I shutoff. Then back up to 80econ after it's warmed up a bit.
Travis: I usually set it to stock to idle down and lower the egts below 400* but when i forget it cycles by itself to 1-stock
I didn't know that option was available? Did you specifically request from Jody for it to revert to stock? Or did it just start doing it on it's own? I've never heard of that....great idea though!
Not sure if it's just a new thing, I haven't heard about it. I got mine actually more recent then you did, but I got it through Dennis at ITP. He burns all of Jody's files the same though. Maybe I'll ask him about it when I do my first re-burn

Travis,
Let us know if the revert to stock tune is available. I'd drive down to Glendale just to have it done.
I got mine at Smokin and I just got it reflashed a couple of weeks ago and mine doesn't do that, but I always start my truck in stock. Jason nearly 5 dollar a gallon fuel doesn't stop you from blown smoke does it .
Ron.....I have the gauge pod switch, but it doesn't revert to stock......YET. Going to email Dennis right now and see if he can do it or not. I'll let you guys know!
maybe try this??? mine will stay in last tune..but i dont mind... i like to shut down at night in stock..it lets the injectors un load a little and level out....
I ran an 80 HP Superchips Gold for 8 years with no ill effects. In fact I may get the best mpg of any member here. Truck is completely trouble free if you discount 2 starters, 2 alternators, and 2 transmissions over all these years and miles. I have absolutely zero oil leaks. So, I think if you guys are looking for someway to spend 45 bucks on another tune, pick something more fun than reverting to stock.
