Guys I just cleaned the battery terminals on my 2000 Expedition XLT Sport and now the moon roof wont close, theres a red button on there thats flashing what does this mean?
Thanks ~Gage~
Hmm, the flashing button is a new one on me. Do you have some type of alarm system installed that disables the moonroof? Have you started the engine to reinitialize the PCM and other modules?
FYI (not that it will help you right now.) Whenever you're going to disconnect your battery, always close all windows and the moonroof first. At least everything is closed in the event of any problems, or if it suddenly starts to rain while you're in the middle of working on the electrical system.
Ok I did get it to close but now you have to hold the button down, I think that my moon roof is an aftermarket one I have 4 buttons on mine.
Thanks ~Gage~
