2001 Exp. Stereo hookups
Trying to add amp to factory deck no preouts i have the converter but i don't know which wire is what so if anyone knows the color code of a 2001 explorer xlt will be ver greatful for your help:-X12

In general the darker wire is neg for the speakers.
just tap em and tune your amp.
like a green wire brn stripe and a green solid. the brn stripe is uaully neg most of the time. unless some ignorant punk owned it before you (was my case and ended up rewiring everything)it's fairly easy.
