Inspection time...
Alright yall its inspection time and that means cats... Im tired of always dealing with my exhaust... and i want something differnent... Im fairly sure i want glass packs... Any suggestions besides cherry bombs... also need suggestion on cats... or will any high flow cat be good? I got a set of long tubes to go on it. I really need a whole new exhaust system cause mine has become mangled from random 4bying incidences...
So... Im looking for a glass pack sound or something similar... any suggestions?

In terms of sound and flow, most aftermarket cats will be about the same. In terms or actual emissions performance, they are not all equal. In addition, your truck being an F-250 is beyond the reach of most of them, both in terms of weight and displacement, which is how these cats are rated. These should be loud enough for you (they can still be quiet if thats what you prefer), able to handle the flow of the 460 engine, and able to last for many years without problems.

Ok, still, the vehicle is heavy, which is the more important rating. Most standard cats are rated to 5.9L 6,000 lbs. Also the standard unit that most companies sell is a standard sized oval design. This makes them marginal on most trucks. Since you do not have the 460, we do have a somewhat less expensive unit that has the same sized (large) casing so it would handle the flow.
