Lower Compression?

Lower Compression?
I was just looking on Black Widow Diesel's site and they have a rebuild kit for our trucks and they offer lower compression pistons. My question is how would this beneifit someone doing a rebuilt? Does it help when going to a larger turbo or something like that?

Lower compression is wanted for people who are going all out performance and have the boost pressure to fill up that space. We would need alot, ALOT of fuel and turbo to do that. many other engine parts will be needed to keep it all together.
