What kind of subs could I buy that could fit under the back bench seat of my 2001 f-150 lariat. Or if this is not possible and something else would have to be done. thanks for any information in advance.
I saw this site link on another post, I am considering them for my 02. It either goes in the console or under the rear seat. A local price was $525 for the box and sub, plus $100 for install.

I want to find a truck with this set up in it so I can hear it. The sales guy said they sounded great, but he gets the money. I like the idea of a sub in the console, it will still allow for storage under the rear seats. Good luck, let me know if you find anything that might work better, Levi
check out q-logic "q-custom" enclosures. They have them that will fit 10" speakers and I believe there is even one to mount an amp. All of that is made to look like it came with the truck, really OEM looking.
Well, if you're short like me Q logic (circuit city and best buy carry them) makes a "truck" box that fits behind the seat, although I don't think i could slide back much further than I am, although I'm 5'6 so I'm not all the way up, but not near all the way back iether.
