How to Change Throttle Position Sensor
92 ranger, 2.3 ltr TPS is located on the back side of engine right by EGR clusterf*#$. The phillips head screw is behind part of the intake that the egr connects to. Whats the easiest way to change loosen intake or take of throttle body?

Put a #2 phillips bit in a 1/4" ratchset drive with an extension and unscrew it. Tough but it comes out.

I had to end up taking off TB. IT was worth it b/c i found a vacuum hose connection that was cracked, it runs to the canister on front of grill to underside of TB. Replaced that and TPS and truck was much smoother at idle. Now to get my temp sensors or thermostat replaced and i should be idle even smoother.

Aggie05, heres a heads up for ya. If you take your A&M diploma and lay it on your dashboard, you are entitled to use handicapped parking. Don't know if you knew that or not.

One more thing to note if anybody is taking of TB is if you take off air tube you can reach lower bolts of TB from underneath with a socket extension, think it was metric 8 socket.
