Got my sub-frame on Monday. Myself with a couple friends went to Pull-A-Part and took front clip off '83 Dodge Diplomat. Was easy but not as easy as some say. Was bolted on with 4 bolts, but you must support engine. Engine is also mounted to sub-frame, held by two bolts. With help from fork lift, we were able to drop sub-frame.
By the way, if you have a Pull-A-Part in your area, and if you haven't been there, please go by!! Great place to get parts!! My front sub-frame cost $140.00 and was complete--steering gear, rotors, joints, etc... Check them out on the web!!
Some years ago when the junk yards around here were full of these Aspens/Volares/Diplomats, etc...the yards would give you the IFS just for pulling the engine and trans out for them so that they could more easily crush the remainder of the POS...I mean, car. Good luck with your project, there's more than enough info out there on this swap.
