Sub-frame

I've been thinking about a sub frame on my 1990 f150 in prep. for the dana 44 im getting ready to put under her. My question is... about how much lift in the front do you think i could get if i build a good support with box tube?

I'm not 100% clear on what you're asking here. If it's built properly you could have any amount of lift you want. The real question is how much lift do you NEED to clear the tires? Seeing as how you're swapping in a D44 and not a D60 or Rockwell I can't imagine you'll need a really dramatic amount of lift. What type of subframe are you planning to put under there?

I almost wonder if hes just doing a 4x4 swap, and using the ttb and wants to lower the pivots, but maybe im reading it wrong. You only need a "sub frame" on the ifs trucks when you lift them.
