Mentioned this subject to my brother-in-law last week (who is a 100% disabled vet--including diabetes leading to blindness), and he said a lot of blind people fold the $20 bill in half, fold the $10 bill in thirds, fold the $5 bill length-wise, tear or fold the corner of the $1 bill. Thought this was pretty smart (have a trusted person at home do this for you), then when you're out in public among people you don't trust (eating in restaurants, etc.), you know what money you're giving out. Have to admit--government was pretty stupid to be changing all the money these last few years and not thinking about putting some bumps or something on the money to help blind people.
