payload capacity?
I need to know what my payload capacity (picking up some landscaping stone) is and do not have my manual to check.
06 250, PSD long bed, SRW, 3.73.

To find the actual you would need to know the weight of your truck and subtract that from 10,000 lbs (GVWR). The remaining is what is available for you and your landscape stone.
The book says your truck has a MAXIMUM payload capacity of 2600 lbs, but the actual will more than likely be in the 1750 - 2000 lb range...

Check your tire pressure and drop 3,000lbs in the bed and you won't skip a beat. Hauled 2,850lbs 4 times in one weekend last year and all it did was improve the ride. As long as your run E rated tires and are not hauling long distance, you should be fine - of course, my truck only weights 6,800lbs, yours will be heavier with the diesel. Not condoning exceeding your GVWR, but you can easily handle this type of load with these trucks over reasonable distances. My old half ton with air bags could handle 2,800lbs with D rated tires (your SuperDuty should have E rated tires) and my only worry was snapping an axle. The SuperDuty won't need air bags - just make sure you get your load centred or slightly ahead of your axles.
