I have a 8'x16' Pace Trailer with brakes on both axles, The problem that I am having is that the brake lite on the controller is not on, but you hook it up to a tester and It works find. There is no broken wires on the trailer that I can see. It work find when I tow it to San Deigo, CA last Wednesday, But when I came back from San Deigo, CA on Saturday the lite would go on and off. Any ideas what it could be. Please Help......
I had a problem with my controller not recognizing the brakes went I hooked up, but still had brakes. After checking all the wiring I checked the brakes by jacking up one wheel at a time and operating the brakes. I found one that didn't work. I turned out to be a bad magnet. After I replaced it the controller recognizes the brakes like it did before.
Well, I just got done replacing all 4 brakes on the trailer, I replace the berrings, drums and new backing plate with all the brakes and mangents attach. It cost me $450.00 for all of the parts.
