My dads 6.0 problems

I know this is the 7.3 forum but you guys seem to know everything, My dads 05 6.0 last night on our way back from N.C. was having some problems. He said it sounded like it was blowing back through the intake around 1800 hundred RPM's and it was blowing smoke (not sure on the color since it was dark out). When he stomped on it it went away and didnt do it all the time. He was towing a 14-15k 5er at the time and Hes got 55000 miles on the truck without any major problems before. He thinks its a problem with the fuel delivery system but it figuered Id pick your guys brains too.

The 6.0 guys aren't exactly dummies. Don't be afraid to ask up there. They've got a few emissions contraptions on those motors we don't have so it's best to take it all into consideration.

With 55k on the truck, shouldn't it still be under warranty

It should be under warranty, and I think there is even a TSB on it.

Keep us updated, I'm thinking of getting a 6.0 since I'm having trouble finding a crew cab 7.3 at a decent price.
