2002 starter

this may seem silly but I for the life of me can't find the starter on my 02 ranger. can anyone heplp with this silly task?

Mine is on the left side, under the oil filter.

thanks

thanks it wasn't there it was on the right side but it was down low. looks like I have to take the whole starter off. which looks to be a bit of a chore.
don't know why it was different other that I have an 02 ranger fx4 which is now the fx4 level II thanks anyway for th quick response
