The bolt situation went just as i thought for now, the old bolt was worked about three quarters of the way out and i threaded in a shorter version of the same thread pattern. It held today without leaking with you know florida heat about this time of year. I hope it holds for a while but mainly just long enough to where i can have more time to mess with it.

For future reference anyone messing with the water neck:

Spray it with pb blaster, let the engine heat up and cool down all the way, then shoot some more pb and cross your fingers.

Anything other than that and YOU WILL break one of the heads off guaranteed!
Theyre worse than an exhaust manifold bolt on an aircooled VW.LOL

Jamin congrats on the test, not alot of people can appreciate the two big electrical exams are but i do, nice work!
Benny good luck on your test! Wait until you do the masters it is tough, but worth it.

Jamin Congrats on passing! I'm happy for you!

Well good thing you got the bolts to work. I know some on here have gone and bought the bolts at the IH dealer. Might want to check around and see if you can find the right ones, especially when it really gets hot down there in a month. I took the Journeyman Electrician test and then you have to take a seperate Wa part. Passed NEC with 83 and Wa w/ 88. So now I can go to several places after I wait the one year to recipricate it. Also have the Ca JW license and two in Fl. Good luck on taking the test and if you need some study materials let me know, I might be able to help.

Ok just let me know. Is the test on the 05 or 02 code book? I have both tabbed and highlighted. It helps trust me. Good luck.

The bolts are an international part number about 8 dollars a piece, but you can get similar at advanced auto parts they are just a little long but go through the housing anyway.
