I am thinking of changing my gears to get better fuel miles I have F250 7.3 power is not an issue . my question is it expensive this is a superduty 4X4 and it has 4.10's now but the cost of fuel is killing me I only get 12.4 miles to the gallon.

No way should you ever pay $3500 for just a gear swap on a 4x4.....even if you have them put in ARB air lockers front and rear with an ARB compressor with the front and rear gearsets and master install kits.
For just a gear swap....$1200-1800 for front and rear axles parts and labor depending on your location and what reputable shops in the area charge.

Just slow down. You will save more fuel by slowing just 5 or 10 mph then u ever will by a gear swap. BY going from 410s to 373s u wont even have a noticeable difference. My 430 trucks get just as good of millage as my 410 trucks and they both do better than my 97 f150 307 range 4.0 6 banger. That would be throwing good money after bad.
