Why Defuser Torque Converter Lock/Unlock
? My truck had this on it when I bought it. What is it for and why would I use it.
I've switched it on when I was idleling and the truck jumped and died. Any clarification would be great.Thanks

It locks the torque converter when you switch it on.If it was in idle it will die out because there is no slippage in the trans,just like if you hold the breaks down and let the clutch out.It is used only when you are moving somewhere above 30 or so mph or when you want 100% lock-up when towing or racing just remember to unlock it when you come to a stop.
