Accelleration Issues. What's Up?

Here's the deal. Three times this last week I've been just driving down the road towing my trailer and I have let off the accellerator for a few seconds to coast. When I put my foot back on to accellerate up a bit, there has been no response. The rpm's did not change and I think I've felt extra resistance behind the pedal. Today when it did it I was going about 25 MPH and I put the pedal 3/4 of the way down and nothing. Each time this occures, I just take my foot off and press again and it's fine. I really haven't had time to check it out. Any Ideas? Mabe a bad cable?
Thanks!
Paul

These trucks don't have an accelerator cable. We drive by wire, and electric signal that varies is attached to the pedal. This will bump you to the top and someone else will chime in.

There are no cables on these trucks, all electronics. There could be a dead spot, but you would know when it crosses that threshold and would pick back up. Someone will chime in.

Dave.

Wasn't fast enough, Like the above said...
