Same here!!!! My Wife and I watched the Memorial day special from our nation's capitol last night on PBS-very moving to say the least.

Happy Memorial day to all the Armed Forces - present and past, that help keep this country free. From my family, to every one here on FTE, I wish an enjoyable and SAFE holiday.

Watched the PBS Memorial day special in Hi-Def, was very cool...

Well, we just had our Memorial Day retreat here in Iraq, and I guess you could say it was quite moving to think about what that all means while standing here. Every morning some very brave young Soldiers & Airmen head out that gate and make a difference every day -- some of them never come back. Even though I'm here, I don't have 1/10th the stones these guys do. Sitting in a well guarded base working on radios is one thing, kicking in doors and looking for the bad guys is another. My hat is off to those that are out there laying it on the line to bring democracy to place that hasn't known it for many, many years.
