Question for SHO owners current or former

What kind of gas mileage do(did) you guys get out of your SHO? I've got a 95 3.2 Auto, that needs a little work(alighnment, new valve cover gaskets, ect.... ect..), and I don't think it's doing so hot. The last time I drove it a lot was about a year and a half ago(it's my dads car, but I am buying it from him), and it seemed like I drove only about 60 MPH and still only got like 21 MPG. I have heard other people claiming 30 MPG, and such but I haven't seen it yet, and I drive slow. Is this normal fuel economy for a SHO?

When I had mine I could never keep my foot out of it to see what I got if I drove nice. Back then gas was cheep so I just filled it and went in to pay.

Yeah it's kinda hard to keep from putting it over 4k RPM, the engine just sounds so awesome for a 6 cylinder. I wish all sixes sounded like that. When it comes to money though I can keep my foot out of it.

Not a SHO, but I drove my mom's 95 3.8 Taurus for about a week back in school and got 26 driving normal without trying to get good mileage.

I have a 93 SHO 3.0 with a 5sp, it is parked right now until I get the hood and headlights fixed, darn deer, but it would get 26 mpg on it's daily run to work at 65mph for 25 miles. On the open road it could get about 30mpg running at 65-70mph. I always put the 93 octane fuel if it.
