Thrown Code? Help!!
i HAVE A CODE THAT CAME UP ON MY SUPERCHIP TUNER P0284 CYLINDER 8 CONTRIBUTION/BALANCE FAULT WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN THEN I CHECK AGAIN A COUPLE WEEKS LATER AND IT DIDNT COME UP AGAIN. HELP I AM WORRIED

Sounds to me like #8 starved for fuel,its the last hole to get fuel.You should keep an eye on fuel pressure if want to keep that injector.A cross over line and a gauge will save you worrying about it.

Cross over line connects the fuel lines that are inside the heads with a fuel line between the two heads at the back of the motor. The gauge is a pressure reading from your fuel system to keep an eye on the pressure from inside the cab. At the very least you will know when to swap out the filters. When was the last time you changed the fuel filters?These motors do not like dirty filters or fluids.

you've probably already done damage to that injector and possibly others by going that long on your fuel filters. cross over line is abour 100 bucks....labor is a pain in the *** from what I hear though.
