I-beams
I have a 79 F100. so on my computer at school I set it as my background. my ag teacher said, "What year model is that truck?" so I told him. about a month or so later he asked me, "Does that truck have twin I-beams?" I didn't know what that was so he drew it on a piece of paper what it looks like. I think the truck does but if anybody knows does the 79 F100 4X2 have twin I-beams on the front axle?

Don't let him tell you how bad Twin I beam are. Since they are not articulated they tend to wear the outside edges of the front tires, just a tiny bit more than a Cheby but they are incredibly tough and unless you are into extreme truck jumping they will not bend or need adjusting. They ride pretty decent too. Cheby and Dodgee people are always trying to put down Twin I Beams but you don't have to rebuilt them near as often, like these other brands.
