New Project Pics

I put some pics of my next project in my gallery. Someone tell me if it's a 54 or a what. All the parts are with the truck lots of surface rust but haven't seen any rust through anywhere. The pics are from my cell phone so not the best. Will get more when I get it out of the trees.

Look at the 5th digit of the serial number. If it is a "3", it is a 1953. "4" means 1954, etc. Check here for more info: http://www.customautobrakes.com/fordtrucks/53FORD.DOC

That's not rust. If you can't see thru it, I call it patina!

Yep, '53. Did the tree grow from a sapling and dislodge the pass. side of the hood?

raerjim;
The tree is in front of the truck. One of the hinges is loose on it. His son started to dismantle the truck, and took the fenders off. Then lost interest in it.(Good for me)
