fuel tank wiring
My son has a 1990 f150 custom with a six and automatic. The fuel guage doesnt work so he wanted to fix that.. upon inspection of the rear tank he noticed he has four wires going into the tank/pump area one yellow two black and one red.. the blacks i assume are ground . They are tape spliced together. the yellow has a yellow wire taped to it the red has a black going to it the one black has a red to it and other black has a black to it... what are the wires ( i know one set is to the fuel pump and the other is to the guage ) and which two are to the guage right now the pump is working dont wanna short it out
