Eng Light On
Truck has been pumping out blue smoke last little while. Only while in Tow/Haul mode and low speed. Mostly stop sign to stop sign in town.
This past wknd however while towing my 28'TT I went to pull out onto the main hwy, truck felt flat/ lack of power, and I looked down at dash and ENG Light was on.
Pulled codes with a friends OBD2 code reader and I got...
P0261, 264, 267, 270, 273, 276, 279, 282.
Before I take it into the dealer can anyone tell me what these codes are and what I can check on the truck.
Cause of BLUE smoke and now the codes?
Thanks.
0264: Injector circuit low cylinder 2
0267: injector circuit low cylinder 3
0270: injector circuit low cylinder 4
0273: injector circuit low cylinder 5
0276: injector circuit low cylinder 6
0279: inj circuit low cylinder 7
0282: injector circuit low cylinder 8
what did you run through your truck!?!?! A racoon!?! lol I'm no tech in any way shape or form but if my truck pulled those I would think I needed all new injectors. Get that thing somewhere quick man, good luck.
Is there any reason why I would have gotten all those codes at once? Bad fuel filter? Bad oil?
Some things I can check rather than take to dealer and have him tell me the codes arent there and need to wait untill it happens again.
Thanks guys.
Mine happened as I was starting at night. The 5th was lit up with over a dozen bulbs. I was wondering if this was caused by the batteries getting weaker, and with all the extra load, dropping the voltages below a threshold.

Any thoughts?
