yes, i used mobile 1 75/140 and friction modifier. I dont think its the rear end directly...it sounds like the 4x4 clutch in the transfercase is trying to engage when i turn or accelorate quick?!? thanks for the input...
Have you changed the transfer case fluid recently? I had a similar problem that I eradicated by changing the fluid twice in a short period of time. Water in the fluid makes the clutches misbehave.
well.....to reply to the first question, my expo doenst have the option for 2H its A4wd 4-low and thats it. and for the second question, i just changed the transfer last week, put mercon V back in...thats what mitchell said the rec. fluid is?!? there was no tag at all on the case, i thinks its a reman. I read that the tire height could be off enough on one side of the expo to make the clutches engage with out slipping. im going to try to rotate on side like identifix says and try that on tuesday. Thanks for everyone's help.
PS. after changing the transfer it seems to be doing it less, so i think i might flush it out again. what fluid should i run in it. Its a A4wd no part time at all, its automatic. Thanks again.
